ARID Recovery Homes is an Addictions Supportive Housing organization based in the Niagara Region.
The entry process:
Clients wishing to stay with us must either 1) Call our offices to speak with a Home Manager, or 2) Fill out and email in the Intake Form provided below.
Who is ARID for?
A typical ARID Resident is a person struggling with addiction, who is looking for a stay of 6-9 months in a residential setting, with compassionate and understanding daily staff and counsellors with experience in the field.
Rooms are available on a waitlist basis, with two residents to a room, and eight residents per home (note: due to COVID-19, all rooms are currently single occupancy only, excepting isolation.) Residents are expected to complete chores every day, and are responsible for cooking and cleaning up after themselves.
While at ARID, residents are expected to attend five outside anonymous meetings (N.A., C.A., A.A., etc.) per week, and all in house meetings. In house meetings comprise of a Random Access Men's Meeting, a Resident and Staff Meeting, and a Relapse Prevention Programming meeting every week.
Provided below is an intake sheet for you to print off and fill out at your own convenience; having this filled out before you call in will make your entry call that much easier for you. If you wish to download and complete the form online, you can e-mail the finished form to arid.info@aridhomes.ca .
